I'm going to post this even though it makes no sense. Nintendo fired a Treehouse person.

It's because she holds a "second job" according to them.

But the Internets thinks it's because people put pressure on Nintendo based on her college papers discussing child porn laws and Japan's unique desire to remain as Japan as Possible.

This is where it gets really confusing...

Apparently those people doing the pressuring were targeting her because they believe she was part of the reasons why a handful of Nintendo games recently have had sexualized depictions of girl characters censored.

But that doesn't make sense because number one, she wasn't on localization/translation teams. And number two, if her paper is to be believed, wouldn't she be an advocate for such depictions?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure none of this is about ethics in gaming journalism, that's for sure.
