leasing is generally not a good financial decision because you have no equity in the asset at the end of the lease term. it's like a long-term rental.

there are some people for whom leasing is a great idea, but they are few and far between.
if you are a "new car every three years" person anyway, some leases can make sense (like, if you get a great deal on an EOMY).
do we have anyone here who's ever sold cars?
I have been toying with the idea of leasing lately because I don't feel like I get enough value out of my car (I drive about 6k/yr) for the payment. I'm wishy washy because I don't like the idea of not having any equity.
