Depends on what you want. Leasing gets you a nicer car and it's usually totally covered.

So you get peace of mind of never having to worry about it.
We just leased my wife's Highlander. Oil changes are free. Car washes are free. Everything is covered.
But yes, when it's over, you are left with nothing of value. It's essentially renting. But to us, it was worth it. By the time the lease is up, we may have a second kid and want a different car anyway.
