there's just a hint that he's being forced to be a conventional candidate.

that Matthew's interview was a disaster. He looked very out of his element. He's not able to yell and scream and actually has to have a conversation. He clearly sounded like he was fumbling for an answer to pander to the pro-life folks in WI.
I think the key to defeating him is to bake off as much of his hardcore support as possible. If he retains just his fanatics he might not win.
