they'd lose a large percentage of their fan base if they lose the greasy redneck.

Diva and I have a casual friend, an acerbic gravel voiced queen. We joke that he's has a massive crush on "Darryl" and that if he ever found out that you were in Norman's presence he'd quiz you with, "you're going to tell me what he smells like, you lil bitch."

Of course we have no idea if our friend even watches the show but my money is on that he does. And writes slash fiction about it.
