Star Wars 7 -- B+ .... fun but not quite as great as the original trilogy. (spoils)

I found what made the originals great was a pulp quality with a swaggering anti-hero...Harrison's just not able to swagger anymore so it lacked that inate 'fun' but was a deeper movie overall.
I do think Finn was good, but Daisy Ridley was superb. She was a strong female presence which lord knows, movies need more of.
And Adam Driver...he was solid. Kylo's fully-formed Force immaturity versus Rey's newly-discovered Force maturity is an interesting parallel.
When he pushes her to the edge of the ravine and then offers to make her strong in the Force; her look of fear turning into "Oh, yeah, that!" turning into her being a badass...that was fantastic.
