Minor quibble about vehicles in the Walking Dead

They're based in Alexandria. I'm really supposed to believe that in all this driving around they haven't stumbled across the miles of car dealerships on Route 1 and picked better (newer), faster, more fuel efficient, and more reliable cars than an RV?
