I enjoyed my limited experiences with Virgin. I had no issues with my limited experience with Alaska.

I've flown Jetblue more than both of them combined and have generally fine experience with Jetblue too.
But surveys and statistics tell me that, no matter how much folks dislike this merger idea, Alaska is a well regarded, well operated airline.
