My Wrestlemania (and WM weekend thoughts)

The ladder match, Styles/Jericho and the women's title matches were all excellent. I was also surprised by all of the outcomes. Shane/Taker was good (though I doubt it would have been as good without Shane's stunt). I really thought Shane was going to win this (with Taker essentially ultimately submitting for the good of the company and to screw Vince). Guess he has another year left in him. New Day/LON was fine, but weird that it wasn't a title match at WM. The ending with the legends coming out was great. The Rock was fantastic and Cena joining him was a good moment. Even the crowd seemed excited despite their feelings about him. The guy is seriously like Wolverine in his healing ability. Lesnar/Ambrose was fine. It was what was expected. Not great, but fine. Title match was nothing special. I do feel bad for Reigns though. They've put him in a pretty untenable position and I don't think it's his fault. And I think the crowd reacting to him as it does makes him look worse than he is. He basically has a crowd that is no-selling his moves no matter what he does. He has some talent and charisma and I'm afraid his career has been poisoned. Hopefully they'll find something to fix it (turning him seems like the best option, but I think they're looking for the next Cena). Overall a very good, though long show.

Hall of Fame highlights were Sting and especially the Freebirds. Michael Hayes is fantastic. And I would never have recognized Jimmy Garvin in a million years. There was some good wrestling history in the Stan Hanson stuff as well. The industry used to be even more brutal.

NXT, loved the Sami Zayne match. Best of the year. Really like the American Alpha tag team. Those guys have talent. I thought the rest was fine. Nothing blew me away, but it was decent.
