I hate that. Seriously I think they should charge people who carry on their bags fees and checked bags should be free.

Current way encourages too many people to carry on which overcrowds the overhead compartments, delays takeoffs and gives a boon to those who wait by letting them check for free (and probably get their bags off first since they are put on last).

Responses:

I never see it happening (too much revenue in checked bags). And delayed/mishandled bag rates are unacceptable. - ty97 Apr 5, 11:55 3
