call me "Apey". (Um, ok.)

My grandmother wanted me to be named Eva, as the first born daughter on my mom's side had that name. My mom (an Eva) said no way. There was apparently some family conflict over this one. (I'm glad she broke tradition.)

I continue to be super thankful that she chose the name Kelly.
