They were like the dog who caught the school bus. They just had no idea what to write. When he stopped being prissy and funny I lost interest fast.

It wasn't that hard for them either. Write him funny, tease the relationship between the two - either a love interest or buddies...build up the mythology and let it play out. When they killed off their son and ditched that current mythology, I knew they had no idea what to do.

I think we might have broken up with the show. We have 6 episodes backlogged on the DVR and instead of watching any of them, will watch Big Bang - Jim Apr 6, 06:34
Which is strange since they didn't want the backend of season 1 becuase they had a perfectly good ending for their mythology at the time - Will Hunting Apr 6, 06:23 1
