and not only would it perfectly fit his character, but also have it's intent be perfectly understandable to the audience?
And then they do the entire Brother in Arms song for the last 5 minutes...just amazing.
Add in the last episode's final shot where Leo gives a silent reaction for 18-20 seconds (not an exaggeration, I timed it)...there aren't shows on tv who would let a shot linger like that.
Sorkin should have retired at that moment and just dropped the mic.
