I love you and think you're awesome but this is the most wrong you've ever been and costs you points on your NYer card.

Fresh bagels should never, ever be toasted. Not ever. No. Just don't do it. You're ruining the chewy bagel by turning it into toast. Second, cream cheese is awesome. I can see someone not liking it and that's fine.
But you don't toast a bagel unless it's a day old bagel.
