We have zero coordination. I mean, all of NYC Transit (subway, bus) are on the Metrocard but that's it

Everything else is pretty much it's own thing. Even the agencies that are part of the MTA with NYC Transit
- Metro North is paper tickets
- LIRR is paper tickets, but entirely separate ticketing systems
- NJ transit rail and bus has its own ticketing system, but they at least allow mobile passes via their app
- Amtrak is Amtrak
- The bus companies are all their own thing (except NYC city buses and NJ Transit buses, see above)
