Almost all Indian food cooked at home can be very healthy.


I've been cooking a lot of curries and stir frys at home lately, and they've all been great.

But restaurant Indian is rather hit and miss. A lot of them will use heavy cream instead of the more expensive coconut milk. Or, rather than keeping just curry sauces stocked up, they'll batch cook entire pots of dishes to save time during the day, which requires them to add much more oil and many more fillers as stabilizers.
