Yep. :-) I have learned to live by Anthony Bourdain's admonition against "healthy alternative" recipes.


You know, the recipes where you substitute low-fat milk mixed with a little rice flour in a recipe that calls for heavy cream. Or you use olive oil instead of butter.

Bullshit. Those recipes never taste the same no matter how expertly made.

So, rather than eating the same amount of something that doesn't taste as good, eat a smaller amount of something that tastes like it should. And complete your meal with a salad. Or some healthy side dishes.
