I like the theory I saw on YouTube this morning that Melisandre will having nothing to with him coming back. Otherwise, he's no more important to the story than the dude who kidnapped Arya, and was brought back by the red Priest over and over. The theory I saw says they Jon Snow will rise from the ashes after the Night's Watch burns his body. Thereby proving he's a Targaryen, and dragon.
