It's a different way of looking at the data. And Bernie isn't, or hasn't been, terribly strong on gun control.

Per capita, Virginia sends fewer guns to NYC than Vermont.
Vermont: 626,042/55 = 1 gun per 11,383 Vermont residents.
Virginia: 8,382,993/395 = 1 gun per 21, 223 Virginia residents
