Yeah, and sadly, there's no way around that.

Someone's getting hurt. It's a sin to many.

So, what's more important. The end game of respect and understanding, or someone initially not agreeing with your sexual orientation?

Because, we ain't going to make religious people give up the Bible; but if they get to the "We're all humans and deserving of respect"...that's a pretty good end game, imo.
