I nearly fell over. It's not a new transmission but a piece in the transmission shorted out.

I have a "lifetime" warranty on stuff like that but I expected them to back out. They didn't.

It's administered by a third party apparently that argued that the records didn't show that the tires were rotated at one of the intervals so they didn't have to cover a fix to the transmission. Even the dealership guy was like "come on"
