huh, I hadn't heard about this/miller's comments. what a big bummer, I wonder if something happened ahead of the show

that set him off. like right before it.

I've shared here before that a concert of his was one of the best I've ever been to, and it wasn't like I was a big/regularly following fan at the time. I mostly knew him from songs from childhood and his jazzy/bluesy album. I wouldn't have gone if the tickets hadn't been free. it was.. maybe 15 years ago or so. he was a total pro, and knew how to put on a really good show.
