people and events that happened sometime in the last century.

The most recent addition to coinage is Kennedy and he's been dead 50 years.

The most recent addition to bills is Grant and he's been dead over 130 years.

Why doesn't MLK have a bill or a coin? How about Armstrong? Mickey Mantle? Einstein?

So, so many Americans worthy of being featured on our currency.
