There's a strawberry festival in June, in the next county over. I think I may enter their baking contest.

I've never entered a baking contest before. Do you think they look for traditional favorites or stuff that's a little "different"? The only rules are that it must be made from scratch (no box mixes etc) and must contain strawberries.

it never hurts. My wife won a hamburger recipe contest and got 50 coupons for free stuff (frozen burgers, chicken fingers, etc)
