Raul has been streaming video on the Internet since the late 1990's, when RealVideo was all the rage. In his past lives, Raul has been a historian, a researcher, an archivist, a developer, and a computer scientist. In 2008, he joined Oregon State University where he has helped shape the university's media eco-system, facilitating the recording, delivery, and use of audio and video in course materials. He speaks frequently on the importance of media in academics and consults regularly with higher education institutions to help them plan their roadmap for the future.
