i guess. i've only bought one thing from them, which i needed for research and wasn't available in hard copy anywhere else

google wanted this to be the digital equivalent of a library. not sure, from a copyright perspective, why it couldn't be -- assuming that brick & mortar libraries are not infringing on copyrights by making their catalogs available to the public for free
