We had a not terrible CVT in one of my wife's cars but I immediately crossed Nissan off my "if I need a car" list.

It was jolting on cruise on the highway trying to find the right "gear" for fuel efficiency. It actually made my wife carsick in the front seat.

    - I'm prettty sure you don't need to shift gears when you stop an automatic. Unless you're turning it on. - nic to be determined Apr 18, 20:24
