spotify is having a major, and freaking annoying, issue - I, and many others, haven't received any notifications of new song or album releases from followed artists for weeks.
looking into that, I found that they apparently purposely took away notifications about new additions to playlists that are followed. just inexplicable. I thought it was related to the other issue, but no - ugh.
