what they said, esp. that it does depend on what you're used to.

I'd suggest you not try to reduce the sleep but keep going with that 7, as it should start to feel more restful and not make you more tired; and that's a good amount for letting your body do its thing without going into sleep deprivation compensating - "oo, I'm getting more sleep, gimme moremoremore!"
