so Dan Foley botched the extra vote in season 30. This season was actually filmed as season 31...then they dumped the extra vote and turned it into the vote stealer for Second Chance - and Fishbach bungled that.
I'm wondering if Tai fucks up the extra vote too and that's why they bailed on it for Second Chance.
Course, I could also be reading too much into it.
