Points to Equifax. I went to dispute a tax lien but they had already removed it unlike Experian and TransUnion.

It wasn't their fault that it was on there. The State of Maryland messed up years ago. In November I called Maryland and they sent me a letter saying that it was an error and also stated that they would report the error to the three credit reporting agencies.

My bank was fine with the letter when it came to mortgage pre-approval so I wasn't too worried. I gave it way more than 90 days and then today I figured I would check and file a dispute.

Pulled up Experian to dispute it and the lien was there so I filed an online dispute. Their system to upload supporting documents didn't work so I am mailing a copy of the letter.

Pulled up TransUnion to dispute it and the lien was there so I filed an online dispute. Their system to upload supporting documents didn't work so I am mailing a copy of the letter.

Pulled up Equifax to dispute it ready for the same process, but I couldn't find the lien. I kept looking and looking for it because it took a long time for it to dawn on me that the reason I couldn't find it to dispute it was because it was no longer there.
