Anyone know if you trade in "Classic" it will transfer over to Beta?

I saw that any trades made in Beta don;t transfer over to the normal HSX. But if I continue to trade in Classic and then they eventually switch over to Beta, will all of that be lost?

Also, I love how they brought it back. They must've lost a lot of traffic in one week in order to have to do it.
