I fully to get some knuckle sandwiches over this comment, but to my chagrin I really didn't like Kimmy Schmidt S2

cannot figure out what is wrong.

there are funny moments, but somehow the episodes were kind of a chore to watch.
a lot of the levity of S1 is strangely absent, and the storylines are kind of annoying.

the one bright spot is that Carol King has been given more to do,
and she is really wonderful - plus, Lilian is responsible for most of the touching moments of the season.

i'm really hoping it is better on a rewatch, but....man am I disappointed.
