Ya'll are completely overlooking Sansa Stark. Littlefinger and Varys are the smartest players, but Sansa holds power over Littlefinger. And she not only now has all of the qualities, characteristics, and experience to be Queen of the North -- and a good one at that -- all the pieces are falling into place for her to return to Winterfell.

I don't think she will ever sit the Iron Throne, but I do think she will end up Queen/Warden of the North when the Targaryens bring down the Lannisters and reinstate themselves on the Iron Throne.
