I think we're going to see Team White Walkers rally and steamroll Team Iron Throne.
We shouldn't forget Tormund as an important fighter against the White Walkers. He was a direct witness to the events of Hardhome and, in his own way, can be very persuasive with not only the Wildlings, but the Northern Clans.
I think Jon -- with great help from Bran -- will discover his true family history and then realize something incredibly important: The best way to defeat the White Walkers and save Westeros (if not the world) is to take the Iron Throne. And maybe the only way.
Why? Dragonglass. And the knowledge of dragonglass, how to use it, and even the White Walkers themselves contained in Oldtown.
While Team Iron Throne is involved in a scrum of infighting, with the Dornish kicking things off by invading King's Landing and getting into a tussle with the Martell army, Jon and Dany arrive, secure the Iron Throne, and rally everyone in the South to return to the North to fight the White Walkers.
