I feel the same way, but the result is that I've clearly been aligned with the democratic party for long enough that I consider myself a democrat at

this point. I don't in any way feel that is immutable. If policies changed I would and do re-evaluate. But sitting where I sit right now, if I felt about the democratic nominee the way I (and many republicans) feel about the likely republican nominee, I would vote for the other side to try to pull the side closer to my views back to reality.
