Meh. They are on the pricier side. But if I never have to replace that cup, it's money well spent.

I went through a few different brands of water bottles and had issues (one melted in a few spots; one cracked, etc. No excessive use, either). I got my Tervis water bottle for $16 or so at BB&B (on sale and used a coupon). I know I'll never have to buy another water bottle again, so it was worth it. If something happens to it, back it goes.
