Also, there's the talking thing. As soon as he goes "Ow! This fucking hurts!" they'll know.

Also, the idea that "the direwolf revived him" is ridiculous. The wolf is connected to him, so he had foreknowledge that it had worked, but it was Melisandre that did the reviving.
