chipotle isn't regular fast food, though. not just because it's fast casual, but they actually do fresh and simple food.

I do have other complaints - killer sodium, but that's been at least somewhat better in my two recent visits, those after I stopped going there for a year.
just because something is a chain doesn't necessarily mean it's all bad. especially for restaurants maybe even more than other places - if you offer good food at reasonable prices, people will come. my closest chipotle is in the same shopping center as a location of a small local chain - they've coexisted for several years. (local place raised their prices, even.)
