I gave myself a serious scare last week while picking up Mrs. L's meds at the pharmacy; blood pressure was 160/110.

We have a home BP kit, and I checked when I got home, and it was 158/105. I've never had BP higher than 125/90!

Saw the doctor, he confirmed in his office it was that high, got a prescription for LISINOPRIL and a strict instruction to begin a low-sodium, low-fat diet.

The weird thing now is that my blood pressure is not just down, it's now below where it used to be. I'm getting readings of 95/60, 110/70.

It was the kind of scare that is making me take it very seriously. Man I miss cheese...
