Can you help me out on this? Why are NHL teams so eager to fire coaches?

They'll fire division-winning coaches all the time; they fire recent CoY's; recent Stanley Cup winners...
A guy like Boudreau has won 8 divisional titles in 9 seasons, but has been fired twice in that span...
that's like the Braves firing Bobby Cox around 1999
