I think Clinton is a politician. She gets in the trenches and fights it out. People don't like that. They've savaged her for a generation. I think there's an element of fear in the opposition of her.

I think you'll have to dig up some despot and reanimate him before you find a more loathesome person than Trump. He's easily the most wretched national figure I can remember in the US. You have to go find a fringe figure to make a modern comparison.
