hm, that's less interesting to me if true. i don't care that much about the cult of pappy....

i mean, i haven't tried it and i know markets well enough to understand how scarcity drives demand but i'm still not too caught up in being one of the hordes who need to try it just because it's scarce. i'm sure it's fine, but from what i have read it seems like there are lots of more available bourbons that are just as good if not better. i mean, i'd sure drink pappy if someone offered it to me, but at 700$ a bottle then well no thanks.
