and former head of Focus Features and asked him if Batman v. Superman made money or not. He said, without knowing all the details of the film he couldn't be certain, but would guess the break even point is probably somewhere between $750 million and $1 billion. He also said the true measure of its success will be whether it successfully launches the related film franchises, and thinks the jury is very much still out on that.
