In response to "Making the right moves...but if she doesn't go, are you going to be stuck going with friends when you really don't want to, or can't afford to? -- nm" by zeitgeist

no, it's good either way ... i've set back a little money for myself at least ...

to cover my ticket getting in ... and we have gone before ... and we usually stop somewhere on the way to get breakfast, and then eat very light / sparingly there, then eat when we get home ...

and i've even budgeted out a little money from recent paychecks so that i might buy myself something nice there if something catches my eye. so if Library Girl says yes, it won't be so hard a shock on my wallet. i have a little money put back for it. :)

and as far as friends go, it won't be a prob if i don't "have a date" with me ... i won't be the only person in the group without a significant other if it turns out that way. and we're all good. we've known each other for years and we're good about hitting all of the stuff there that we're interested in ...

so, i'm good either way. but i do hope that Library Girl says yes. it'd be a good day to spend a good six or seven hours with with plenty of opportunities to get to know each other a little better on a personal level (you know, beyond the sometimes superficial stuff that you say to a person that you see out in public from time to time but don't often get to talk about anything really meaningful or for very long for whatever reasons) ...
