regardless of the outcome, that was the last time we disengaged but otherwise the US has been involved globally since...just by a matter of degrees. Instead of just sending special ops/advisers from one administration, others will send in a naval battle group or if we're feeling really frisky, we'll park 150,000 guys in some country. Matters of degrees, is what I'm saying...regardless of what the American Public wants.
