What eliminated the Sonatas? I had a 2011, and loved it. Only reason I sold it is because I needed more seats. -- nm

Co-worker loves her Elantra and I think they're a little more sporty.

I had a prior gen Elantra and loved the car. The Optima is the "oldest" of the current gen of midsized cars so the tech won't be as fresh.

Honestly, I'd add the Jetta to your list and at least test drive it. They are cheap right now. -- nm

My mom has a Civic and it's pretty sweet. I like the Accord/Civic over the Corolla/Camry. The Veloster looks sweet, not sure on the specs.

The only way I would buy an SUV is if it's small and doesn't drive like a truck. -- nm

Drive the Mazda 3/5 crossovers if you have any interest in a bigger car. Those are the only ones you want. -- nm

The CX-5 is the only way you're getting me into a crossover.

You will never ever regret buying a Camry. Other than that, I'd advise against Kias in general.
