Is kilbo still around? I've been thinking about our conversation on downloading games from yesterday (D2?).

It was my first TT mini-beat down, and as such through me into a fit of existential despair.

But: if a game is out print, and is only travelling through the person-to-person economy, is there still a moral/ethical objection? The creators aren't getting any money for it, nor are the publishers. It seems to me it then becomes a simple market issue: one guy wants me to pay him $90 for a game, another guy wants to give it to me for free. I didn't find that second guy, but you understand my point.

So, do you still have a moral objection to, say, a ROM of Castlevania or something?

Thanks, btw, for that guy's contact info. His site said he's sold out of it, but I'm going to give him a call today and see if he can help me put my hands on it.
