because the TV series has diverged from the books to such a degree.

In the books...

Lady Stoneheart has set a trap for Jamie, and is probably going to wreak bloody revenge at Walder Frey's wedding.

The Dornish are going to team up with Aegon's army, and Doran Martell has sent the Sand Snakes on various missions.

Sansa is still in the Vale with Littlefinger, and no Bolton marriage is in sight.

Victarion is leading the Iron Islanders on a mission to Essos and is going to arrive at Meereen just as it's besieged by Yunkai, Qrath, etc

etc etc
