SpaceX had a successful launch, successful first stage recovery, and successful payload deployment to geosynchronous orbit.

This is the 4th successful first stage recovery and the third successful recovery at sea.
Technically, the Thaicom 8 satellite is only in a transfer orbit right now. But its systems are responsible for getting it to GEO.

The last one had similar issues. Going to GEO requires more speed, leaves less fuel for maneuvering on reentry.
